Instead of punishment, we focus on understanding what a child may be trying to express. We use brain-based discipline practices, time-ins, and supportive conversations to help children learn appropriate ways to communicate their needs and emotions.

When challenges arise, we work together with families as a team. We look beyond behaviors to understand the underlying needs and help children develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.

Most importantly, we speak positively about children in front of them. We want every child to hear the good we see in them and develop a strong sense of self-worth.

Children learn best when they are actively engaged in play, exploration, and discovery.

At Rainbow Sprouts, learning is child-led and play-based. We provide opportunities for children to build creativity, confidence, problem-solving skills, and independence through meaningful everyday experiences.

While we are not a preschool, we incorporate fun learning activities that help children develop kindergarten readiness skills such as coloring, using scissors, holding writing tools, following directions, and participating in group activities.
